After the wet cold winter and then the rapid growth when the soil warmed up, we now have some lawns which have got a little thick.

So eventually spring seems to have arrived and the sun has come out, three days before midsummer’s eve!

As we move through the spring and in towards the summer, we’ve certainly been seeing enough rain!

So! This winter has been just about the wettest winter ever recorded but in theory, we are now into spring!

As we start to move forwards, it is nice to gain the extra few minutes of daylight each day.

I’ve seen too many Christmas decorations starting to appear which means I think we are heading towards late autumn.

We are now getting towards the point where all lawns will have had their first nutrition boost of the year.
